      Mrs. Vurlene Marr, 88, Murray, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at 6:30 a.m. at Spring Creek Health Care. A retired bus driver for Calloway County Schools, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
      Preceding her in death were her husband, Aubrey Marr in June 1985; one sister, Era Lovins; and one brother, W.D. McCuiston. Born June 2, 1918, in Calloway County, she was the daughter of the late Dillard McCuiston and Helen Carson McCuiston.
      Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Hendon Thomason, Murray; one son, William Gray and wife, Shirley, Okeechobee, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hynda Osborn, Stewart, Fla., and Mrs. Holloween Vinson, Vienna, Ill.; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
      The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Rev. Sammy Cunningham will officiate. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
