She was a native of Kokomo and had lived in Interlachen for the past 12 years, coming from Kokomo.
She was an active member of Eden Baptist Church in Hawthorne, Fla., and was a former member of Crossroads Community Church in Kokomo. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed crocheting and making flower arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert Joe Snyder, Interlachen, Fla.; daughter, Connie Johnson, Interlachen, Fla.; son, Jerry Snyder, West Lafayette; sister, Laura Belle Cook, Oakford; three grandchildren, Justin L. Johnson, Robert Roler and Deana Sloan; two step-grandchildren, Chad Knight and Jeremy Knight; three great-grandchildren, Camille Sloan, Shelby Roler and Maya Watson; five step-great-grandchildren, Austin Knight, Brandon Knight, Cameron Knight, Rebecca Knight and Kaden Knight; along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Joyce and Joy Herrington; and two brothers, Ronald Bone and Herb Wilson. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Eden Baptist Church, Hawthorne, Fla., with the Rev. Jim Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen, Fla.
