Auda L McCuiston Wrye Birth: unknown Death: Apr. 24, 2016, USA Auda Laurine (McCuiston) Wrye, 93, of Henderson, KY, formerly of Mount Carmel, IL, passed away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016, at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Auda was a member of Community Baptist Church in Henderson and a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Mount Carmel. At First Baptist Church, she was the social director and transportation coordinator of her Ruth Sunday School Class, hosting numerous gatherings in her home. She was also a member of the White Shrine, a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Elks. Auda and her husband, Pat, worked together as owners and operators of Pat’s Vending Company in Mount Carmel. Auda was a world traveler, enjoying trips on ships, trains, hot air balloons, and elephants. Auda was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Pat” Wrye; her brother, Mozel McCuiston; and her sister-in-law, Mary McCuiston. She is survived by her four children, Milburn “Rocky” (Rosalind) Wrye of Mount Carmel, Patricia (Gary) Dicus of Evansville, IN, Mary M. Wrye of Henderson, and Richard (Debra) Wrye of Floyds Knobs, IN. She has six grandchildren, Matthew (Angie) Wrye of Shawnee, KS, Ashley (Patrick) Loar of Los Angeles, CA, Summer Bennett of Newburgh, IN, Holly Dicus of Evansville, IN, John Patrick (Katie) Wrye of Framingham, MA, and Alan Wrye of Lexington, KY. Auda also has six great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Auda will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Dr. Tim Hobbs will officiate.
