- Annelise Mary ""Anna"" Baker, 16, of Anderson, passed away Wednesday June 22, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born August 12, 1994 in Anderson and lived there all of her life. Anna attended Liberty Christian School and Indiana School for the Blind. She was a Sophmore in high school.
She was a member of East Side Church of God in Anderson and a member of Henry County Hot Shot Power Soccer team. She loved to read; loved dogs; enjoyed time at Wawasee on her Boston Whaler and driving her Papa's 1964 convertible Lincoln Continental.
The family especially thanks I.U. Health North Pediatric Staff; I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospice team; Dr. Bruce Cohen; and special thanks to Dr. Kathleen Miller of Fishers Pediatrics and Valerie E. Petry.
Survivors include her parents, Michael L. and Katherine ""Katie"" (Williams) Baker; two brothers, M. Scott Baker and Alec P. Baker, both of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Dr. V.R. ""Dick"" and Marilyn Williams of Winchester; paternal grandmother, Barbara Neuman of Anderson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Philip H. Baker.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at East Side Church of God, 2600 E. Fifth St., Anderson, with Dr. Kerry Robinson officiating.
Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
