    Helen Tilley went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2019. She was born on December 5, 1930 to Alice and Thedell McCustion.
    Helen met and married the love of her life, Harold Tilley and was able to spend the next 36 years together raising their family until God called him home.
    She was a longtime employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and Dean Foods. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
    To her children, she was the best mother, grandmother, fried chicken and sweet tea maker known to man. She had an infectious laugh that would light up any room and could be heard in the next room. She loved life, being with her family, and especially enjoyed ballroom dancing with friends.
    She leaves behind to cherish her precious memory; two sons, Ken Tilley (Patti) and Mike Tilley (Jill); two daughters, Shirley Smith (Gary) and Teresa Lovett (Mike); seven grandchildren, Stephanie Housley, Candice Zachary, Craig Smith, Lisa Scott, Matt Lovett, Jackson Tilley, and Abby Grace Tilley; six great-grandchildren, Kenly, Ronin, Blakelea, Carly, Anna and Andrew; three sisters, Norma Hardy, Betty Rodgers, and Carol Cunningham, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dog Bella Rose
    She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three brothers, Gerald McCustion, Bobby McCustion, and Billy McCustion.

    Ms. Thompson is survived by one son; Michael Thompson of Campbell Station, one daughter; Sandra Dawn Thompson of Newport, four grandchildren; Jennifer Whitby, Crystal Thompson, Julie Hunter all of McCrory and Amber Thompson of Tuckerman and six great grandchildren.

    George Michael Olin

    George Michael Olin, of East Wenatchee and formerly Entiat, WA, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010, after a yearlong battle with cancer. George Michael was born in Wenatchee on January 2, 1959, to Donald and Linda (McCuistion) Olin. Growing up in the Entiat Valley with his parents, two younger brothers, friends and classmates, instilled George Michael with a strong sense of belonging and community support. From an early age, George Michael knew he would serve his country in some way. After graduating from the Entiat High School in 1977, he enlisted in the United States Navy. George Michael's naval career began June 1977, in San Diego, CA and included tours of duty aboard the U.S.S. O'Brien, U.S.S. Chancellorsville and the U.S.S. Ranger Sentinel. When at sea, he worked as a Sonar Tech and instructed while stationed in San Diego, CA and U.S. Naval Complex Rhode Island. George Michael was a true sailor, loving the open seas and experiencing the many treasures the world has to offer. After 20 years of service, George Michael retired from the U.S. Navy in 1997, at which time he moved back to the Entiat Valley, where he soon met and married Heidi Rhianon Allen in April 1999, adopting her two sons, Morgan and Michael, as his own. In 2000, they were blessed with the birth of their youngest child, Evan.
    George Michael is survived by his wife, Heidi; sons, Morgan, Michael and Evan Olin; parents, Donald and Linda Olin; brothers and their families, James, Phylisha and Grey Olin, and Lee and Bobbie Olin. His family wishes him always 'Fair Winds and Calm Seas' on his greatest journey yet.
    The Family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to all hospice care workers, in particular Nurse Barb.
    A Graveside Military Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the Entiat Cemetery, followed by a Potluck Gathering at Donald and Linda's home in Entiat. For directions, call 509-630-8561. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Entiat City Library or Home Hospice Care out of Central Washington Hospital.
