HOLBROOK, Neb. - Pauline Lois Harper, 68 years of age, of Holbrook, Neb. passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at her home after a brief battle with cancer. She was born May 31, 1952 in Oxford, Neb., the 4th of 9 children born to Rolland and Berniece (Broeker) McQuiston.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rolland and Bernice McQuiston, first husband Denis Schulz, brother-in-law Don Stafford, and niece Wendy (Salyers) Pollard.
She is survived by her husband Warren Harper of Holbrook, two sons Matthew Schulz (Kari) of Holbrook, Danial Schulz of Holbrook, step-son Brent Harper (Sandi) of Randolph, Kansas, sister Barbara (Mike) of Harvard, Nebr., sister Beverly Stafford of Thornton, Colo., brother Michael McQuiston of Orleans, Neb., sister Delores (Don) Scheumann of Carthage, Indiana, brother David McQuiston (Kathy) of Oxford, sister Kaye (Ron) Blincow of Ashland, Nebr., sister Debra Mostek of Omaha, Nebr., brother Mark McQuiston of Alma, Nebr.; two grandchilren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

HARVARD - Berniece Maxine McQuiston, 85, of Oxford died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Harvard Rest Haven.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Oxford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eldon Fablinger officiating. Burial will be at Oxford Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell-Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Oxford with the family present from 1:30-3 p.m.
She was born April 13, 1926, on the family farm northwest of Orleans in Harlan County to Carl and Clara (Hoppe) Broeker.
On Feb. 24, 1946, she married Rolland McQuiston. He died May 9, 1999.
Survivors include her sons, Michael of Orleans and David and Mark, both of Oxford; daughters, Barbara Salyers of Harvard, Beverly Stafford of Lakewood, Colo., Pauline Harper of Holbrook, Delores Scheumann of Carthage, Ind., Kaye Blincow of Nixa, Mo., and Debra Mostek of Omaha; brother, Wallace Broeker of Orleans; sisters, Phyllis Thulin and Ardis Proctor, both of Oxford, Carla Freeberg of Holdrege and Janice Maaske of Loomis; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
