      Age 93
      Tom was born on February 5, 1924 in Olney, Texas to Thomas Sr. and Jewell Hogan. He was a 1945 graduate of Texas A&M, and veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He received a combat infantry badge with a silver star, four bronze stars, and two presidential unit citations. After his service, Tom returned home to Crane and took over his father's Chrysler dealership. He served on the Crane Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years, served on many civic committees, and was an Eagle Scout. He was a 50-year member of the Masons, 32nd Degree Master Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, and member of the Shriner’s Club. He also received a Governor’s commission as an Admiral in the Texas Navy. Tom was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served on the administrative board. Tom is preceded in death by his wife Joan, his parents, his brother Theodore, son Tom Hogan III, and granddaughter Jonna Sue Anderson.
