- Ralph David McQuiston, 71, of Sebeka, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota.
Ralph David McQuiston was born on March 8, 1950, in Sandstone, Minnesota to Leo and Ida (Patch) McQuiston. He grew up in a family of 17 children and graduated from Barnum High School. He enlisted into the United States Army and served from 1968 to 1969 as a medic. After his honorable discharge Ralph started working for Artic Cat as a fiberglass technician from 1969 to 1980 when he then moved to Williston, North Dakota to work in the oil fields for a few years. Ralph moved to Wadena, Minnesota in 1983 where he started his own fiberglass business called R & L Fiberglass, he later closed the business in 1999. One of Ralph’s passions was helping others and he was a foster parent to many children over the years. He devoted a lot of his time working at the Bell Hill Recovery Center as a Chemical Dependency Technician from 1988 until his passing.
Ralph enjoyed cooking, grilling, gardening, camping, biking, snowmobiling and jet skiing. His family was very important to him, and he loved to have people over for meals.

eeply loved, Ralph’s passing will be mourned by his children Joey (Kim) McQuiston, Amy (Jon) Germain, and Ryan (Tena) McQuiston; his 15 grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; his siblings Chuck, Ray, Theresa, Bob, John, Billy, Terry, Toni, Tina, Tammy, and Joyce; a large extended family and a host of foster children that came into his life.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Orville, Patrick, Benny, Charlotte, and Richie.
