John “Dale” McCuiston, age 72, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. Mr. McCuiston was born on June 21, 1951 in Pembroke, KY to the late Senator Pat McCuiston and Clara Johnson McCuiston. Dale worked as a deputy sheriff in Christian County many years ago and served as the assistant administrator at the Western State Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville, KY. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture from Murray State University and was a member of the First Christian Church in Dawson Springs, KY.
Survivors include his wife ~ Edith Faye Jordan McCuiston of Dawson Springs, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Joey and Marcella McCuiston of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers and sisters-in-law ~ Max and Tara McCuiston of Trenton, KY and Jere and Mary Lee McCuiston of Trenton, KY; two grandsons ~ Grant (Madison) McCuiston of Bowling Green, KY and Carlton McCuiston of Dawson Springs, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for John “Dale” McCuiston will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour at noon at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Robbie Weathers and Rev. Michael Weathers officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Grant McCuiston, Jeremy McCuiston, Carlton McCuiston, Patrick McCuiston, Preston Rives and Michael Campbell.
