Mrs. Julia A. Langham Passes Away
Mrs. Julia A. Langham, age 83, died Saturday, May 27, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ola Gregg, at Shreveport, La.
Mrs. Langham had been in poor health for several years and her passing on to the great beyond was no surprise to those near her.
The body was brought from Shreveport to Idabel in a Skaggs Funeral Home coach Saturday night and prepared for burial.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at 2:00 Tuesday, Rev. W.W. Starnes, pastor of the Christian church of Idabel, officiating. Burial at the Crown Hill Cemetery in charge of Skaggs Funeral Home.
She was the mother of ten children, seven of whom survive her.
The sons are: Henry Langham of Louann, Ark.; Jess Langham of Broken Bow, Boyd Langham of Slick, Okla., and Rosco Langham of California. The daughters are:
Mrs. Henry Chester of Broken Bow, Mrs. Bell Williams of Conway, Ark., and Mrs. Ola Gregg of Shreveport, La.
Mrs. Langham made her home in Broken Bow for a number of years and was well known here. She went to Shreveport several months ago to make her home with her daughter.
The News joins the host of friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones.
