Bill was born July 2, 1949, in Pierre, SD to Alta (Olesen) and Ike Sr. McQuistion. At the age of 14 he left home to combine with Jigs Flippen in OK. He came home to complete High School then moved to Texas where is worked in the oil fields and welding. He was privilege to be able to help with the clean up after hurricane Katrina.
After almost 50 years in his beloved Texas he decided it was time to come home. He loved to do karaoke and he often called one of his brothers or sisters to sing for them, also enjoyed dancing. He greatly missed our loving mother.
He is survived by his children: Bob (Pallas) Quist, John (Amanda) McQuistion, Emmaleia Shepard and Brian Shepard; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Ike McQuiostion Jr. of Pierre, Diane Jensen of Canistota, SD, Judy Weldin (Dave Newman) of Pierre, Cheryl (Vernon) Voigt of Pierre, Martha (Todd) Hieb of Pierre and Matt (Lori) McQuistion of Pierre; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and all of the Golden Living Center family.

I thank you for your part in my journey.
