      Homer was a resident of Knoxville, Tennessee at the time of his passing.
      He was married to Jessie.
      A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m., immediately following visitation. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 24 for a service of committal at Highland Memorial Park in Knoxville. The East Tennessee Honor Guard will provide military honors.
      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alice Bell Baptist Church Building Fund, 3305 Alice Bell Rd., Knoxville, TN 37917. These funeral arrangements are in the care of Bridges Funeral Home 865-523-4999. www.bridgesfuneralhome.com.

      MCCUISTON, HOMER – age 92, passed away quietly on December 20, 2014 with his family at his bedside. A graduate of Stair Tech and Knoxville Business College, Homer married Jessie Newman in 1942 and was blessed with two children, Huanne McCuiston Woodward and Miles Andrew McCuiston. Homer proudly served his country overseas in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a Master Sergeant. He retired from Robertshaw Fulton Sylphon in 1984. Homer was a loving servant of God serving his church and community selflessly. He was a longtime member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Jessie Newman McCuiston; daughter Huanne (Jerry Woodward) and son Miles (Susan); five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 –7:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike.
