Linda Lou (McQuistion) Warnick, age 73, of Mesa, Arizona was called home to join the “Angel Band” on September 23, 2017 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, Ohio. She was born in her family home in Tymochtee Township on February 5, 1944. The daughter of Russell and Opal (Huff) McQuistion. Linda graduated from Mohawk High School in 1962, and was thrilled to attend their 55th reunion this year. She was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and graduate of Terra Tech Community College with a degree in accounting. She was employed with Mennell Milling Company for 25 years and David DeLaat, CPA Inc. before retiring to sunny Arizona. Linda had a love for music as she played many instruments throughout the years but most enjoyed the guitar and recently the piano. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, walking her dogs, singing country and gospel music and had a great yodel. She was preceded in death by her siblings Russell, Edward, Robert, Betty, Carol, Norman and John. She is survived by her sister Marie Woosley of LA; former husband Richard Warnick of Findlay, OH; daughters Lisa (Jerry) Wyatt of Cottondale, AL; Lynette Lamb of Chandler, AZ; and Camille (Charles) Zalar of Rock Creek, OH. Linda loved her family especially her nieces, nephews and grandchildren Justin Sharp, Moriah Piper, Clairah Sharp, Amanda (Chris) Anderson, Brianna Zalar, RJ Lamb and Reese Lamb. She has three great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all. The family is honoring her wishes of having private services followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donate to a cause of your choice that will ease suffering such as recent hurricane efforts or the Animal Protective agency in your area. Linda’s last gift to this life was becoming an organ donor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home. Friends may leave condolences via www.coldrencrates.com.
