      BARRE — Richard G. McQueston, 89, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 in Wachusett Manor in Gardner.
      He leaves his wife of 69 years Alice M. (Russell) McQueston; two sons Richard G. Jr. & his wife Gail of West Barnstable, and Russell P. & his wife Shirley of Rutland; a daughter Martha M. Femino & her husband Stephen of Barre; a brother George McQueston of Texas; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
      Richard was born in Barton, Vt. The son of George F. & Ida R. (Dennison) McQueston, he lived in Barre for 68 years. He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
      Richard worked for the Chas. G. Allen Co. in Barre as a machinist for many years until he retired.
      A private family graveside service will be held in Glen Vally Cemetery in Barre. Donations may be made in memory of Richard to the Barre Library Assoc., PO Box 489 Barre, MA 01005. Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S.Barre Road, Barre is directing arrangements. (Pillsburyfuneralhome.com)
