Biography
Age 74, Geronimo - Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday at First Baptist East, Lawton, with Rev. Jim McGuire, Associate Pastor and Rev. Eddie Coast, Baptist Minister, officiating.
Mr. McCuiston died Friday at a local hospital.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
He was born January 6, 1937 West of Geronimo to Fayne and Angeline (Peters) McCuiston. He attended Geronimo Public Schools and was a Graduate of Cameron Junior College. He married Lola Mae Ray on January 11, 1957 near Sterling, and they were partners in life for 54 years. Bob worked in Lawton as co-owner/operator of McCuiston Service Station before going to work full time for Ben Leva Auto Supply. He worked for Montgomery Wards in several capacities including assistant manager of the auto service department before managing the service department.
He then became a full time farmer in the Geronimo community until retiring in 2000. He continued his cow/calf operation until 2008. He was the two time president of the Grand National Horseman’s Association. He was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Comanche County Rural Water Board #3, a member of the Board of Directors of the Comanche County Farmers Home Administration and an advisory member of the Lawton Farmer’s Co-op. He and his wife Lola are members of First Baptist East.
He is survived by his wife of the home; three children and their spouses, Debra and Robert Van Ness of Midland, Texas, Danny and Sandy McCuiston of Geronimo and Diann and Mike Johnson of Geronimo; seven grandchildren, Jarod L. Kay, Tara McCuiston, Maegan McCuiston, Kati McCuiston, Brittany Kay, Carly Johnson and Wyatt Johnson; a step granddaughter, Jessica and her husband Ofer Mintz; a sister and brother in law, Eva and Edward Sims of Geronimo; a brother and sister in law, F.V.and Pat McCuiston of Geronimo; and numerous extended family members.
His parents, a granddaughter Marissa Mae Kay and a brother Pete McCuiston preceded him in death.

Eugene Pete McCuiston was born Oct.13, 1935, in Geronimo to Angeline Peters McCuiston and Fain McCuiston and diedWednesday, June 22, 2005, at Willow Park Health Care Center in Lawton at theage of 69 years, eight months and nine days.
McCuiston was a farmer in the Indiahoma-Geronimo area. Survivors include histwo sons, Paul McCuiston, and Stanley McCuiston, both of Indiahoma; twobrothers, Joe Robert McCuiston, and F.V. McCuiston, both of Geronimo; a sister,Eva Sims of Lawton, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services for Eugene Pete McCuiston will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday,June 25, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Indiahoma officiated by JamesStewart.
Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery, Indiahoma under the direction of PeoplesCooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf.

Memorial service for Reba Mae McCuiston, 78, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Cameron Baptist Church.
Reba McCuiston passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014.
She loved the outdoors, gardening, and visiting with her close friends and family. Reba was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Fairview, to Jesse and Alvine Schroeder. The fifth of eight children, she grew up in Geronimo, where she graduated from high school in 1954. On Dec. 31, 1955, she married Eugene "Pete" McCuiston, had two sons: Stanley and Paul, and remained married to Eugene until he passed away in June of 2005. Reba resided in Geronimo until 1980 and then moved to Indiahoma, where she resided until 2012. Reba then moved to the Village on Lee, where she resided until her death. Reba worked as a deputy court clerk for Comanche County for most of her life then worked for Dr. Gose until she retired. After retiring, she enjoyed spending most of her time gardening, sitting outside enjoying the outdoors, spending time with friends and enjoying her grandchildren and their many activities.
Reba is survived by her sons: Stanley and his wife Terri, and Paul and his wife Penny; two sisters; seven grandchildren and their spouses; and two great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers and two sisters.
