  • Notes 
    • After the death of E. W. Tittle, Carrie lived another two or three years in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She held on as long as she could, but eventually had to return to the home of her parents in Gilliland, Texas. Her daughter, Elsie, remained in Shawnee, Oklahoma with her husband. Earle and Byron returned with Carrie. After two years, Earle went to live with an uncle, Reverend W. L. Tittle, a Methodist minister. Carrie McCuistion and her second husband, Mr. Reeves, lived in Big Springs, Texas in 1928.
