Emma Dahlman, a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed from this life on Sunday morning, February 16, 2014. She attended Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City where she majored in Elementary Education. She later received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She met Gordon Dahlman in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Mohawk Golf Course, and after a brief courtship they were married. After the loss of her husband, Gordon, in 2002, Emma filled her retirement with many rounds of golf, play dates with grandchildren, and trips with family and friends, including a trip to Ireland with friends from her church, the 29th and Yale Church of Christ. Emma’s last years were difficult because she struggled with Dementia. Emma is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, 9 grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service 2 p.m., Saturday, February 22, at 29th and Yale Church of Christ.
