Dennis Nick McQuiston, age 71, passed away on September 18th, 2019.
He was born in Yakima on January 30th, 1948 to Jimmie and Doris McQuiston. He was married to Judy McQuiston and had 4 beautiful children together.
He then remarried to Julie McQuiston and they were together for many years. He remained very good friends with both after the marriages dissolved.
Dennis retired after many years of being a truck driver. He drove for Fairchild, Bradley Trucking and Price Trucking.
He really enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing, camping and hunting were his favorite things to do and he went whenever he could.
He loved watching TV; he especially loved his westerns. Dennis had a great sense of humor and a big heart; he would do anything for you.
Staying in touch with his family and friends were very important to him. He enjoyed talking about the Good Ol’ Times.
He had ten grandchildren and they were the light of his life. He was always stocked up with popsicles, candy and soda for them.
He is survived by his children Jody McQuiston of Camas, WA, Denise Nelson (James) of Selah, WA, Kimberly Bridges (Tim) of Yakima, WA, and Dennis McQuiston (Nicholle) of Yakima, WA; grandchildren Joseph, Austin, Nicholas, Macie, Benjamin, Lukas, Timothy, Morgan, Travis and Amelia Jo; sisters Linda Ferguson of Yakima, WA and Donna Lewis (Joseph) of Yakima, WA; nieces Deanna Enlow, Christine Howerton, Cherie Duggan, and Colleen Davis, and nephew Michael Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Doris McQuiston.
A celebration of life will be held at Yakima Christian Center, 1422 S. 10th Ave., Yakima, WA on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11 am.
