      Friday, June 16, 2017 Patricia Jane “Pat” McCuiston
      Patricia Jane “Pat” McCuiston, of Dalton, departed this life Thursday evening, June 15, 2017 at the Gardens at Royal Oaks.  
      Pat was born April 27, 1924 in Indiana, a daughter of the late Cecil Don and Geneva Baye Offitt Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benton Edward McCuiston and her brother, Jack Jones. 
      Pat was a graduate of Spring City High School in Spring City, Tenn.  She was Roman Catholic.  She was a devoted housewife and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 
      She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Lynn and Dr. David Burnett of Folly Beach, S.C., Dr. Mary and Dr. Michael Shapiro of Athens, Ga., and Jan and William Henderson of Dalton; grandchildren, Carrie and Brad Brookshire, Suzanne and Matt Wooley, Amanda and Josh Mitchell, Rob and Carol Anne Shapiro, Emily Shapiro, Patty and Bates Westmoreland and Will Henderson; great-grandchildren, Jack Brookshire, Grace Anne Brookshire, Charlie Mitchell, Ari Shapiro, Matty Wooley and Stephanie Wooley. 
      Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Patricia Jane “Pat” McCuiston will be held Saturday morning, June 17, at 11 a.m. at the Celebration Committal Pavilion at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Dr. David Burnett, Dr. Michael Shapiro and William Henderson officiating. 
      The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to your favorite charity.
