      Huston Eugene McQuiston - age 89 passed away Tuesday August 14, 2012. Born in Columbus, GA Saturday, July 14, 1923 to the late William E. and Omie Gillihan McQuiston, he is preceded in death by his wife Jewell McQuiston, and grandson Bud.

      A veteran of the US Army, an auto mechanic and one who enjoyed fishing he is survived by his daughter Liz (Riley) Binkley; sons Al (Gail) McQuiston, Stanley McQuiston; eight grandchildren Cheri, Jenny, Jeff, Kelli, Sandi, Dawn, Stan and Leslie; 15 great-grandchildren Brandon, Jarret, Jennifer, Cody, Sarah, Katie, Devan, Miles, Daniel, Randall, Joshua, Steven, Patrick, Miller and Savannah; and two great-great-grandchildren Brilee and Huston; several nieces and nephews and his faithful companion Baby.

      Funeral services will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 in the afternoon in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Jeff Binkley officiating. Pallbearer will be Seth Jones, Steve Ray, Ernie Chase, Stanley H. McQuiston, Jr., Brandon Ray, Ricky Krantz, Randall Henderson, Daniel Henderson and Jarret Ray; honorary pallbearers are Dee Eubanks, Jerry Filson, Terry McClure, Mike Donahoe, Randy Hodges, Tommy Stevenson, Charles Parks, Mike Burris, Olan Smith, Jr., and Richard Smith. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
