      Jeffrey Albert McQuiston

      Jeffrey Albert McQuiston of Paoli Insurance broker, CEO and principal of McQuiston Insurance Agency, Jeffrey Albert McQuiston, 51, of Paoli, died on Thursday Nov. 28, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Celia Porro McQuiston; his children, Andrew, Beatrice and Natalie; his siblings, Laura Ungerman (William) of Norfolk, Va., Sheila Sullivan of Malvern, Bonnie Haughey (John) of Chester Springs, Michael (Kathleen) of Chadds Ford and Philip (Leslie) of West Chester; sister-in-law, Cynthia Porro; and also by his 15 nieces and nephews. He was the beloved son of Rhoda McQuiston Larson and the late Albert M. McQuiston II. Jeff graduated from Great Valley High School (1980), and Georgetown University (1984). Three months later, he married the love of his life, Celia. Jeff started working with his father in 1984 at McQuiston Insurance, which was founded in 1959. In 2005, Jeff took over the family business working with his sisters. He engendered many years of loyalty among his clients, including 3rd and 4th generations of families insured through his agency. Jeff was an Eagle Scout and continued to be involved to the end of his life with the Boy Scouts of Malvern Troop 7 as a former Scout Master. Over the past 20 years he helped many young men become Eagle Scouts. Jeff enjoyed home improvement projects, hiking, camping, fishing, golf, and his three dogs. He loved the outdoors and was a long time member of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club and the Edgemere Club. He loved vacationing at Silver Lake in the Poconos with his extended family and did so for 48 consecutive years. Jeff treasured lifelong friendships, helping others, and above all family. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, at St. Patrick Church, Malvern. Mass services are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4th.
