- Carolyn Lee Obituary
Carolyn Swett Lee, 84, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on September 9, 1939, in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Donald
and Carolyn (McQueston) Swett.
She graduated from Westbrook College in 1960 and was very active in the
Alumni Association. She resided for most of her life in West Hartford. Carolyn worked for the United Church of Christ and the Bank of America-IRS. For many years she enjoyed spending a week each fall volunteering at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Donald S. Lee, of Hartford; her two brothers, Robert B. Swett and wife, Nancy of East Conway, NH, Douglas M. Swett and wife, Patricia, of East Conway, NH; as well as her four nieces.
She was very close to her dialysis and oncology teams. Carolyn always spoke fondly of Ashley and Kimberly.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at the Wesleyan Cemetery in Gloucester, MA, overlooking Cape Ann.
