Marilyn McCuistion
Marilyn McCuistion, 61, of Rockwood, Tennessee, formerly of Pikeville and Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Marilyn was a devoted member of the Church of Christ. She was a 1981 graduate of Bledsoe County High School, graduated from Erlanger School of Nursing in 1983, completed her bachelor’s degree at Southern Adventist College in 2008, followed by receiving her master’s degree in nursing. She loved gardening and was very much involved with veterans fundraising events. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and above all, caring for others.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Walter Creason; mother, Donna Dockery; and sisters, Cindy Creason and Pamela Corum.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ronald McCuistion, Rockwood, TN; children, Maria (Chris) Wright, Soddy Daisy, TN, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Hughes, Soddy Daisy, TN and Samantha Muncy, Knoxville, TN; children by marriage, Amy (Paul) Altum, FL, Crystal (CJ) Hill, FL and Andrew McCuistion, Rockwood, TN; grandchildren, Serenity, Tanner and Patrick Wright, Emily and Ryan Hughes, Kayla, Lewis, Kayden, Brandon, Logan and Axel; sister, Tammy Creason of Cleveland, TN; brother, Danny (Kathy) Creason, Dayton, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2, from 12-8 p.m. CST.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton County Memorial Park in Soddy Daisy, Tn.
