Marty Ray McChristian, 6
4, of Hindsville; passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023, at home. He was born Thursday, October 6, 1958, at Searcy; to Charles Glendan McChristian and Melba Jo Campbell.
Marty was a father to four children. In addition to being a farmer, he was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing. A friend to many, Marty was also an outstanding storyteller and a great entertainer.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Charles McChristian and Melba Cummins; and one brother, James McChristian. He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jarrod Brown, of Watts, Oklahoma; Michael and Amber McChristian, of Pangburn; and Jason Hardy, of Searcy; one daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and John Torres, of Conway; one brother, Jackie McChristian, of Huntsville; and one sister, Marletta Brock, of Hindsville; and numerous grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1:00 PM-2:00 PM, Monday, June 5, 2023, at Brashears Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2:00 PM, with Duane Lane officiating. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
