      Loretta Gladys Volpe, age 89, a resident of Farmington Hills for the last six years, formerly of West Bloomfield, passed away November 28, 2017. She was born July 27, 1928 to the late James and Nettie Stevens in Bucklin, Missouri. Loretta was the beloved wife of the late Donald (d. 2003); dear mother of James (Jacqueline) Bromley, Ronald (Deborah) Volpe, Judith (Mark) Wilson, Kathryn (Michael) Kahayian, James (Carrie) Davis, Kim Marie (Frank) Green, Donald (Jessica) Volpe, and the late Waneta Black-Elk; sister of Marlene Phillips; and loving grandmother of 23 and great-grandmother of 26. For several years, Loretta ran an in-home child care center, Children's Choice. Visitation Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am at the Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Road (4 blocks E. of Woodward), Royal Oak. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
