Kenneth W. 'Ken' Robinson, 88, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.
He was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Royal Oak, Mich.
Ken served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Saint Paul during World War II. He and his wife, Senja, moved to Englewood in 1981 from Royal Oak. Ken loved tennis and square-dancing. He was an Associate Broker and co-owner of Roe-Roberson Inc. Realtors. While in Florida, Ken worked in the microfilm department at the Charlotte County Justice Center in Punta Gorda, Fla. He was a lifetime member of Elks Lodge 2378 of Englewood, and a member of the Masonic Lodge Ancient Craft in Royal Oak.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Senja; daughter, Barbara (Mark) Bailey of Clarkston, Mich.; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Oyster Creek Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ken's name to Englewood United Methodist Church, 700 E. Dearborn St., Englewood, FL 34223; or FISH of Englewood, P.O. Box 1636, Englewood, FL 34295.
Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte, Fla.
