Linda Jean Howard, 73, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Born March 16, 1948 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Puckett and Mary McQuiston Puckett.
Linda was retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her family was the most important thing to her, especially her grandchildren. She loved to crochet and tend to the flowers in her garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew Chris Puckett; sister Connie Thompson and brother in law Lee Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Jose) Medrano and Teresa (Dennis) Raymond; a sister that she raised Tina (Margo) Resendiz; brother Dewey (Gayle) Puckett; grandchildren Dennis, Stella, David, Melinda, Ashley, Andy, Micheal, Lil Margo, and Mary; great grandchildren Zackery, Khloee, Aleah, Taylin, Adriel, Anjolee, and Bella; nieces Angel and Tabitha; nephew Randall.
Visitation will be Monday, October 25, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 26, at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. A landmark since 1780, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
