Allen Eugene Estenbaum, 83, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at his residence.
Allen was born on March 6, 1939, in Rayville, the son of David Edward and Lola (McFee) Estenbaum. He was united in marriage Lois June Haynes of Richmond on December 7, 1956; she preceded in death on March 15, 2019.
Survivors include: one son, Randy E. (Robin) Estenbaum of Hardin; three daughters: Jackie Lynn Creamer of Richmond, Terri Jo (Gerald) Cobb of Huntsville, TX, and Tracy Lee Wellman of Kansas City; nine grandchildren: Charlie (Hayley) Creamer, Frederick Allen (Laura) Creamer, Leanne Barnett, Randy Estenbaum, II, Rhyler Estenbaum, Zack (Samantha) Cobb, Jewels Wellman, Lauren Wellman, and Madison Wellman; and 13 great-grandchildren: Estelle, Reign, Ben, Sam, Lydia, Wesley, Bradyn, Brynlee, Piper, Zoey, Diego, Ember, and Jaxson.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeffery Estenbaum and two brothers, David and Junior Estenbaum.
Allen was reared and educated in Hardin and graduated from Hardin High School. After high school he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. His work history included working as a cowboy, carpenter, truck driver, sheriff deputy, and as a plant supervisor. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed grilling and smoking meats, woodworking, and reading. He was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow services in Richmond Memory Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Ray County Veterans.
