- James Hayward Strider, 56, of N. Syracuse passed away on Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Jim was born on April 1, 1962 the son of Donald and Vivian Strider.
Known as “Jimmer” to his friends he took an interest to researching family ancestry and reading about history. He was a gentle soul who was kind, considerate and helpful to others.
James is predeceased by his father, Donald in 1991.
James is survived by his mother Vivian, sisters, Susan Strider, Sandy Strider, along with many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday January 6, 2019 from 1-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals,705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
A funeral service will be held Monday January 7, 2019 at 10am at the funeral home.
