- ROBERT ROLLIN OBITUARY
Robert George Rollin Resident of Lafayette Robert passed away on November 22nd at the age of 92. He was born December 22, 1920 in Petaluma. His parents were George Fredrick and Margaret (Frahm) Rollin. He was married to Vivian (Jonas) on March 28, 1953. Vivian passed away last year. Bob served with distinction in several roles during World War II as a member of the Merchant Marine and the Army Transportation Corps. After the war he was a salesman for various companies before starting his own company in 1954, Rollin and Associates and R.G. Rollin Company of Walnut Creek. In 1981 Bob was selected for inclusion in the publication, "Who's Who in California." Bob sold the last of his businesses in the early 1990's. In retirement, he and Vivian loved to travel and were very active in their community, making friends of everyone they met. They both loved snorkeling, spending a lot of time on Maui and in Belize with their family. Bob is survived by his four children, Larry (Ilse) Rollin, Bruce (Dottress) Rollin, John (Sandy) Rollin, and Karen (Bob) Berkowitz. He is also survived by six grand children and eight Great Grand children, and one Great, Great Grandchild. At Bob and Vivian's request, their ashes will be scattered "At Sea", together, in a private family gathering.
