- William "Billy" Stanley Mccuiston, 73 years old, passed away May 17 in Flat Rock, NC. Billy was the son of William Lewis Mccuiston and stepson of Quindora Jan Mccuiston, grandson of Francis E. Lewis.
He is survived by brothers, Frederick "Mark" Mccuiston, James "Jim" Griffin, and two stepsisters, Lana Johnson and Jan Martin, as well as three nephews, Chris Griffin, Joshua Griffin and Alex Griffin, and niece, Ashley Hall, among other extended family members.
Billy lived a good and happy life with exception to the last two years when complications from a concussion led to a short coma and then finally dementia set in and system failure finally took its toll. He was very much loved and will be missed dearly. Heaven has a Gold member now. Services will be held June 18 at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. The church is located at 2101 Kanuga Rd., Hendersonville, NC 28739.
