- Penny Darlene Pyke, 50, of Sharpsville, passed away on March 4, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 24, 1965, in Kokomo, the daughter of Harold and Laura Cook. On June 21, 1986, she married the love of her life, Dennis Pyke. Penny worked at a daycare and enjoyed babysitting and working with children.
Penny is survived by her husband, Dennis Pyke, of Sharpsville; her mother, Laura Cook, of Oakford; one son, Blaine Pyke; one daughter, Kayla Pyke; two brothers, Steve (Connie) Cook, and Brian Cook; one sister, Pamela Gibson; two nieces, Michelle Munoz and Amber Appleton; eight nephews, Tony Cook, Gary Cook, Justin Cook, Chad Cook, Matt Cook, Adam Gibson, Jake Gibson and Nate Gibson; and many great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are other family members, Priscilla Butler, Tash (Brad) Cohee, and Janie Cook.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Cook and one brother, Greg Cook.
Visitation hours will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 4pm-7 pm at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
