Bradley S. Joyce, 54, Kokomo, passed away at 4:46 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born September 16, 1961, in Kokomo, to Paul E. and Marilyn J. (Bone) Joyce. On November 24, 1979, he married his high school sweetheart, Kaye R. McDaniel, and she survives.
He owned and operated Mouser’s Auto Repair and had also worked at Wilson’s Meat Processing. He was an avid dirt track race car fan and raced stockcars and modifieds for over 30 years. He was the crew chief for his oldest grandsons and was the rookie director for the Kokomo Quarter Midget Club. He had a great love for children, especially his three grandsons.
In addition to the love of his life, Kaye Joyce, he is survived by two daughters, Nikole (Billy) Bolton, Kokomo, and Autumn (Keith, Jr.) Chesshir, Kokomo; beloved grandsons, Deaven Bolton, Kayeleb Bolton, and Emerson Chesshir; one sister, Janice (Tony) Waggoner, Roann; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo with Pastor Dave Cochran officiating. Entombment will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to establish a college fund for Bradley’s grandchildren.
