- Memorial services for Candy V. Stambaugh, 46, Sidney, are at 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2010, at the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Vickie Waddington of the Lonsdale United Methodist Church officiating. Candy was born on July 3, 1963, in Killeen, Texas, the daughter of Lorna (Keller) and Donald Edeburn. They made their home in Texas for a while before moving to Sidney. Candy grew up and attended schools in Sidney and graduated from Sidney High School in 1981.
Following graduation, she moved to Billings, where she worked as a housekeeper. A few years later, Candy returned to Sidney and worked at the El Ray Motel cleaning rooms.
Candy was united in marriage to Jeff Stambaugh on Dec. 31, 1986, in Sidney. After the marriage, she continued working at the El Ray Motel and later working at the Lone Tree Inn.
Candy attended the Assembly of God Church and later attended the Bible Baptist Church in Sidney. She loved photography, and she always had a camera with her so she would not miss a good picture. Candy could draw anything. She enjoyed spending time on her computer and could fix it when there was a problem. Candy also enjoyed accompanying Jeff to many motorcycle rallies. She also was active in the ABATE Club helping with collecting toys during their holiday run.
Candy died at her home on Saturday, April 10, 2010.
She is survived by: her husband, Jeff Stambaugh, Sidney; her mother, Lorna Keller, Sidney; and her in-laws, Don and Deanna Stambaugh, Sidney.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald “Don” Edeburn
