      MICHAEL W. HUHNKE WANATAH, IN Michael Wayne Huhnke, age 55, of Wanatah, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the VNA Hospice Center. He was born January 10, 1955 in LaPorte the son of Alfred and Gladys (Lute) Huhnke, Jr., graduated from LaCrosse High School in 1973 and was a member of the National Hunting Club. Mike had owned and operated Country Septic Tanks for the past 10 years. Survivors include two sons: Brandon (Lindsay) Huhnke of Hanna and Ryan (Dena) Huhnke of Wanatah; mother, Gladys Huhnke of Wanatah; close friend, Patti Wright of Wanatah; Lee (Lacey) Younggreen of LaCrosse whom he loved as a son; brother, Glenn (Robin) Huhnke of Hanna; sister, Arlene (Max) Robbins of Lafayette; and two grandsons: Kyle Huhnke and Cooper Younggreen. He was preceded in death by his father in 2001. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Wanatah Funeral Chapel with Fr. Jerry Schweitzer officiating. Burial to follow at Hanna Cemetery.
