      Ralph D. Long
      Ralph DarwinLong, 82, of Louisa County passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, at his home.
      He is survivedby his wife of 62 years, Anne Cameron Long; son Michael (and Cindy) Long;daughter Monica (and Ronnie) Laws of Louisa; sisters Mildred Powell ofFredericksburg and twin Maxine Minchew of Georgia; and brother Norman Long ofNew York.
      He was precededin death by his parents, Hill Conway and Myrtle Dixon Long; brothers Forrest,Loren, George Edward, Kenneth, Harold and Dale Long; and sisters Viola Webb,Iona Towsey and Martha Moss.
      The family willreceive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at Louisa BaptistChurch, 305 E. Main St., Louisa. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,Dec. 14, at the church. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
      In lieu offlowers, contributions may be made to "Close the Gap" Fund, LouisaBaptist Church, Box 552, Louisa, Va. 23093, or International Multiple MyelomaFoundation, Attn: Gift Processing, 12650 Riverside Drive, Suite 206, NorthHollywood, Calif. 91607.
