      Hello Gloria, David, and BJ!
Thank you all for a wonderful welcome into our Clan! Lindafelt at home, too.  She found some of her relatives in the Texas RangersMuseum - they were rangers!
BJ - I will write a money order tomorrow for the money I owefor the items I purchased on the table. I'm waiting for a check to clear...
Gloria - I worked pretty much non-stop since returning homeon my Lineage chart, filling in the blanks and correcting information. As youwill see, I didn't fill in all siblings of my aunts, uncles and cousins. I havesome names and dates, but not the younger generations. What I have in my oldfiles dates back to 1974, 1985, and 2003, which were the years I worked on it.Most information was given to me when I first met my natural family in 1974 -including Margaret Lovina McQuiston - my natural mother's paternal grandmotherand my great grandmother. It wasn't until last August that I took Margaret'sline back to Thomas McQuiston, born about 1750 in Ireland, settling in 1772 inWestmoreland, Pennsylvania with his wife, Elizabeth Thomas, born about 1754, inIreland. I finally read the page in Leona's book - page 405, but they arementioned only on that page, and their last child, Thomas, was born in 1778after his father's death. He and his descendants are not in Leona's book! But Iwas able to prove my lineage with birth and death certificates, census records, and Find A Grave entries. I'll do more work on this as time goes on. I'm verycurious to find out how his line is related to Clan historian, Jim McQuiston, and, well, all of you! The family resemblance is very strong!
David - I will be on Facebook either tonight or tomorrow.I'm not ignoring you, or Robert, I'm just busy! --- Hibernating to work on thelineage chart! And, recovering from dehydration as the trip back home tookthree days, not two. We were exhausted!
Please share this email and attachments with Robert W as Idon't have his email  address.  I'll connect on Facebook with himlater tonight or tomorrow on Facebook. My profile is locked, even though I'm anactivist, because my full blood sisters pester me and send spies to report tothem of "my activities". Yes, they are blocked, but they hurt me, fordecades, and that is why it is hard to Friend Request me. So sorry for theinconvenience.
I have but a few adopted cousins and natural blood cousinswho are close to me. All four of my parents are deceased, as are all but oneuncle. And I hesitate to let him know about this Clan. He is well into his 80s;he was my godfather, but he hated my natural father. Yes, my natural mother'sfamily firmly believed that my natural father killed my mother. No, cancerkilled my mother. Do I risk the resentment? Do I let an old man know that Iconnected with his grandmother's Scottish Clan?
My immediate family here in Buffalo was fractured fromlosing our mother when we were children, then my disappearance to adoption, then adoption-reunion stress, misinformation and trauma. I've been in a tug ofwar. Not only with my adopted family who resented my reunion with blood kin,but between my natural family and adoptive family, too. The worst ones were, and are, my sisters. So, I fear them finding out about Clan Uisdean. Theycannot be allowed inside as they care only about making my life miserable andtrashing anything and everyone in my life. My sisters are certifiably crazy.
I'm filled with joy at finding family, one that is caring, sincere, mature, and steeped in traditions.  I feel comfort and peace infinding Clan Uisdean!
I'm attaching lots of information that will better explainmy adoption, name change, and why I am an activist to change adoption laws -falsified birth certificates issued upon adoption.
      Again, thank you all,
       Doris Sippel
