Cody Evan Sackett, 26, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2010.
Born Sept. 6, 1984, in Harriman Hospital, he was a member of South Harriman Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Roane County High and was pursuing a degree in liberal arts and criminal justice at Roane State Community College. He had published two books, written several screenplays and had several novels in the works. He also maintained a significant internet presence through his company, Visual Circle Inc. Cody was also a reverend of Universal Life Church.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Bob and Betty Sackett.
Survivors include his mother, Angela McCuiston; a brother, Zachary Sackett; his grandparents, Ken and Alma McCuiston; his father and stepmother, Keith and Ruth Sackett; two stepsisters, Amanda Hanley and Jennifer McKeehan; and many friends.

Cause of death: While driving on Highway 58 he crossed over the center line and hit a truck. The other driver was injured, but Cody died from his injuries.
