      Freddie B. Smith, 95, of Corsicana passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in Corsicana.
      He was born on Aug. 12, 1915, in Corsicana. Freddie was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ and had a great love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was employed as a lineman with TP&L Company, retiring after 36 years of service.
      He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Nora Smith; son, Doyle Smith; parents, William and Emma Smith; brother, Aubrey Smith; and a sister, Calara Rascoe.
      Survivors include his daughter, Faye Ramsey and husband Rick of Corsicana; son, Shelby Smith and wife Trish of Midway, Ga.; grandsons, Michael Crockett and wife Wendy of Butler; and Doug Roberts and wife Christie of Grand Prairie; granddaughters, Michele McGuyer and husband Vernon of Corsicana; Glenda Dile and husband Monty of Grand Prairie; seven great-grandchildren; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
      Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Corley Funeral Home.
      Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Resthaven Memorial Park with Mr. Sam Dilbeck officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.
      Memorial contributions may be made to either the Foster Children's Home, P.O. Box 978, Stephenville, Texas 76401, or to The Salvation Army, 212 E. First Ave., Corsicana, Texas 75110.
