Virginia Mae McQuiston, 81, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, at her home in West Branch.
She was born March 22, 1937, in Rose City to Lawrence and Elva (Westrick) Schneider. She lived in the West Branch and Rose City area her whole life. Virginia was a singer and yodeler and enjoyed gardening, quilting and painting.
Virginia is survived by her children, Joan Switzer, Duane McQuiston, Gary McQuiston, Ron (Kim) McQuiston, Ken McQuiston, Stephen (Deb) McQuiston and Cheryl (Scott) Adams; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo Schneider; sisters, Carolyn (Dale) Thompson and Ruth Ann (Bernie) Fisher; sisters-in-law, Bev Schneider, LaRue Johnson and Marty Schneider; and brother-in-law, Robert Kartes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel; brothers, Larry Schneider, Elmer (Norma) Schneider, Ervin Schneider and Melvin Schneider; sisters, Doris (Bob) Rau and Margaret Kartes; and daughter-in-law, Susan McQuiston.
The funeral service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 1 p.m. with visitation starting at 11 a.m.
