HUNTSVILLE - Zola Iral McChristian Rogers, 98, of Huntsville died March 4, 2010, at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. She was born April 4, 1911, at Japton to George Washington and Martha Louise Eubanks McChristian.
She worked at the White Way cafe in Huntsville.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ruth Harris of Fayetteville; and a granddaughter of Fayetteville.
Visitation is 1 p.m. today in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with services at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Groseclos Cemetery near Japton.

Kennon Wayne Rogers, 53, of 3055 Loxley Ave., Fayetteville, Ark., died May 23, 1991, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born April 23, 1938, at Japton, Ark., the son of William Thomas "Tom" and Zola Iral McChristian Rogers. He had been an employee of Standard Register Co. in Fayetteville for 30 years, where he was a foreman. He was a Protestant, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Fayetteville Evening Lions Club.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Peggy J. Tice Rogers of the home; one daughter, Miss Tracy Michelle Rogers of the home; his mother, Mrs. Zola Rogers of Huntsville; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ruth Harris of Fayetteville.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Dr. Jere Mitchell and the Rev. Phil Misenheimer officiating. Interment was in the Grose Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Gene Carney, Van Sullins, Steve Ritchie, Curtis Yates, Frank Norris and Rodney Land. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Harris, Jerry Tice, Kent McVey, Raymon Rogers and Cecil Tice.
Memorials may be made to the Youth Department of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
