January 12, 1941 - March 15, 2017Obituary
Earl was born in Des Moines, IA on Jan. 12, 1941 and died peacefully in his sleep on Wed. Mar. 15. He graduated from Keaokuk H.S. where he was a high school all-american and voted into the IA Prep Hall of Fame. He was a 3 yr. IA Hawkeye (Big 10 title in 1960). He was a retired teacher from Apollo H.S. where he was the head football coach for 3 yrs; before coaching at Glendale Community college for 15 yrs. (2 national titles). Earl was baptized on July 4, 1980 and was a strong Christian the rest of his life. Faith, family and football were his passions. He is survived by his wife Dee, Greg & Kim Gualdone, 3 granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Mon. Apr. 3 at 11am at Desert Christian Fellowship, 15th Ave. & Northern. Memorials may be made to D.C.F. or G.C.C. football.
