Robert Earl Crudup, 80 a resident of Lincoln passed away March 7, 2015 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville.
He was born September 7, 1934 in Fayetteville, the son of Robert Clyde and Mary Adeline Turner Crudup.
Earl served in the United States Navy aboard the carrier USS Hornet CVA-12 during the Korean War on an around the world cruise. He was awarded the China Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal Europe and the National Defense Ribbon.
He was an active member of the Presbyterian Church and served many years as an elder.
Earl enjoyed hunting, gun collecting and traveling in his RV. He was an over-the-road truck driver and mechanic for Northwest Arkansas Truck and Equipment.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John W Crudup.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Beverly Holt Crudup; two sons Barry Crudup and wife Cheryl of Kansas City and Brad Crudup and wife Janet of Houston; four grandchildren Megan Macy and husband Colter, Lauren Crudup, Justin Crudup and Kayla Crudup; two great grandchildren Castan and Cutter Macy.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 11:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

John W. 'Jay' Crudup, 80, passed away October 22, 2007. He was born June 15, 1927 in Fayetteville, AR to Robert Clyde and Mary Adeline (Turner) Crudup. Jay graduated from high school and attended the University of Arkansas. He retired as a long distance truck driver. Jay was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Delores (Lepak) Crudup of Oklahoma City; son, Larry Crudup and wife Shirley of Bakersfield, CA; and brother, Earl Crudup and wife Beverly of Lincoln, AR. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
