      Richard A. McQuiston “Dick” 78, of Charlevoix, passed away on October 8, 2019 in Charlevoix, Michigan.  He was born December 1, 1940 in Wyandotte, Michigan, to Andrew McQuiston and Josephine M. (Reno) McQuiston. 
      On August 21, 1967 Richard married Judy (Barrett) McQuiston, in Wyandotte, MI.  Dick and Judy resided in Charlevoix for over 27 years. Being originally from Grosse Ile, Michigan.  He owned and operated “Dick McQuiston Ford” in Flat Rock, MI for many years.  Dick was an avid boater and he was a member of the Bay Harbor Yacht Club, in Petoskey, MI.
      Dick was a proud member of the United States Air Force for four years, enjoying his time serving his country. 
      Dick was preceded in death by his parents, a son Christopher McQuiston, granddaughter Ashley McQuiston, and brother Timothy McQuiston.
      He is survived by his wife Judy McQuiston of Charlevoix, MI, his son, Larry McQuiston of Grosse Ile, MI, four brothers Ronny (JoAnne) McQuiston of Trenton, MI, Gary (Charlotte) McQuiston of Brownstown, MI, Bobby (Toni) McQuiston of Southgate, MI, Terry (Chris) McQuiston of Trenton, MI, three sisters Arlene Moore of Southgate, MI, Maxine (Charles) Crayne of Riverview, MI, and Jody (Mike) Roberts of Trenton, MI, granddaughter Megan McQuiston of Grand Rapids, MI, and step-granddaughter Melanie (Joe) Kroll of Southgate, MI.
