      Edmond - Funeral for former Tillman County resident, LURLENE V. EADY, 94, Edmond, will be at 11 a.m., Friday at Burkhardt Memorial Chapel in Frederick Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Copeland officiating.
      Mrs. Eady died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006, in Oklahoma City.
      Burial will be under direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.
      She was born Jan. 21, 1912, southwest of Grandfield, to James Caldwell and Ava Mashburn Dotson. She attended Frederick public schools and graduated from Frederick High School in 1929. Later, she attended Oklahoma Women's College in Chickasha.
      She married William Arthur Eady on July 4, 1932. He died in July 1970.
      They moved to Eugene, Ore., where she was employed by First National Bank, and later by Wells Fargo Bank in 1947. She held many positions, including teller and new accounts manager, which she retired from in 1971. She moved back to Oklahoma in 2001 to be closer to family. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
      Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Roberta Eady, Ontario, Ore.; two sisters, Irene Barker and Lillian Garrison, both of Edmond; four grandchildren, Patrick Eady and his wife Chris, Michael and Jim Eady all of Sacramento, Calif., and Janice Eady, Gardenville, Nev.; a great-grandson, Dillon Costello; and many nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, William Arthur Eady II; a sister, Frances Smith; and a brother, Lorendo "Son" Dotson.
