Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clay Idol, on November 22, 1978 (he was born February 25, 1904). They were married on March 20, 1947. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James Coots McCuiston & Alma Peebles McCuiston.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Verda Idol Hennis & Coy Hennis; sister, Elnora O'Briant; brother, T.L. McCuiston; grandson and his wife, Tim & Susan Hennis; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Bailey, Cheyenne, & Tim Hennis, Jr., and Carissa Stanley.
Interment in the Church graveyard followed funeral services conducted Saturday, December 8, 2007.
