      OBITUARIES
      Frank McCray McQuiston
      June 5, 1927 - January 16, 2013
      A resident of Baker and a native of Plaquemine, he passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 10:15am at Baton Rouge Health Care. He was 85, a retired iron worker with Co-Polymer, and a US Army veteran of World War II.
      Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Don Perkins. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
      Survived by wife of 62 years, Eula Mae McQuiston of Baker; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Celia McQuiston of Emerson, Arkansas; step-daughter, Donna Sullivan of Zachary; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Hythen and Kenneth Hodges of Baton Rouge, and Laura Roshto and Effie Mae Mixon, both of Baker; three grandchildren, Jill and Travis McQuiston, and Tonya Peterson; four great-grandchildren; two step-grandsons, Richard and Russell Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a grandson, Mack York; and two brothers, Roy Nelson McQuiston and James Allen McQuiston. Pallbearers are Ronnie Terrell, Jerry Terrell, Butch Terrell, Bert Neal, Keith Roshto, Robert Roshto, and Travis McQuiston. Frank was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker, and the Baker Masonic Lodge. He loved hunting and fishing, and telling stories and jokes. He especially enjoyed spending time at Wayne’s house parching peanuts on the wood heater that he built, and processing deer meat.
