Obituary ALMA ELNORA MCCUISTON O'BRIANT
GREENSBORO — Alma Elnora McCuiston O'Briant died May 9, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital.
She was born July 8, 1916 in Kernersville NC, the middle child and last survivor of thirteen children born to Alma Peebles McCuiston and James Coots McCuiston. She was also predeceased by her husband Frank Hogan O'Briant.
Survivors include her son Francis Hogan "Bones" O'Briant II of Asheboro, Jo Ellen Starr of Greensboro and Alma Ruth "Boots" Harvey of Fayetteville; grandchildren Michael Alan Starr and wife Cindy Haywood Starr of Stokesdale, John Bradley Starr and fiancée April Revak of Oak Ridge, Lance Morris O'Briant and wife Jennifer Turner O'Briant of Asheboro, Dr. David Miles O'Briant and fiancée Dr. Robin Caperton, Joseph Alan Harvey of Goldsboro , Lisa Kay Harvey of Fayetteville, and Carolyn Annette Patterson and husband William Patterson of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren Jared Hogan Starr, Joseph Alan Starr, Logan Michael Starr, Riley Kieran "Taz" O'Briant, Maggie Ann O'Briant, Killian Hogan O'Briant, Robert Patterson and wife Virginia, Thomas William Patterson, Kristy Lynn Cain, Tiffany Danielle Harvey, and Joseph Nash Harvey; seven great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elnora was a lifelong Baptist and a member of Lindley Park Baptist Church in Greensboro for over sixty years. She retired from Sears with over twenty years of service.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 12 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel, with visitation beforehand at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lindley Park Baptist Church.
