He was born on November 4, 1948 in Detroit, MI the son of John and Anona (McQuiston) Pozsgai. On November 18, 1993 in Muncie, IN he married Charline K. Pozsgai. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Rick enjoyed flying airplanes. He also enjoyed WW II history and working with his hands as a mechanic. He worked in home improvement sales for several years. Surviving relatives include his wife, Charline K. Pozsgai of Muncie, IN; two daughters, Mandi Cheesman (Tom) of Indianapolis, IN, Lindi Foy of Fishers, IN; two step-sons and one step-daughter, Barry Hall (Bev) of South Bend, IN, Tracy Haynes (Anthony) of Hamilton, OH, Brian Hall of Albany, IN; one brother, John Pozsgai (Jan) of Muncie, IN; one sister, Bonnie Wells (Farrel) of Dunkirk, IN; four grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; one special friend, Bill Fredrick (Sandy) of Muncie, IN. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday June 18, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
