      GREENSBORO — Robert William McCuiston, 90, passed away on February 14, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital.
      A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery at 1 p.m.
      He was born in Guilford County to the late Robert Dawson McCuiston and Nellie Jessup McCuiston. Robert he was a US Army veteran and was a POW for twenty-eight months in Germany. He worked as a dairy and tobacco farmer.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Robert is survived by his children, Esther "Fran" Morris and husband "Beaver" of Pleasant Garden, William McCuiston and wife Louise of Wallace, NC and Ken McCuiston and wife Peggy Sue of Pleasant Garden; twenty grandchildren, one great grandchild and one great great grandchild.
      In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405.
